Who is Academics ETC.? Susan Williams started Academics ETC. in 2008. Driven by her passion for helping other children and parents maximize their education opportunity, she wants to offer them “A better education for a better life”.

Why Academics ETC.? We have a wide range of offerings to help students during their academic journey from 1-1 Tutoring and Homework Assistance to SAT/ACT Test Prep and college application support. Our goal is to help each student reach their goals at each level and to be ready to excel at the next stage. Our tutors work with students from elementary to college level coursework.

How do we compare price and value to others? We have a group of tutors who have been working with students for many years. Their true passion is in assisting students find academic success. Our goal is to provide high quality services while being sensitive to pricing.

Why our ACT/SAT Prep Class? We offer test support for both the ACT and SAT. We will meet with the student and recommend the test that best meets their needs. We always suggest students take a practice test of each exam and we analyze the score differences.

What is Homework Club Assistance? Homework assistance is available through our on-line virtual Homework Club. Tutors monitor homework club students and are available to answer questions and provide guidance. Weekly progress meetings make sure students are on track.

How often should I attend Homework Club? We recommend students seek homework club assistance at least four days a week Monday through Thursday. The goal is to stay on track with studies!

What kind of 1-1 tutoring is available? We provide tutoring across all subjects from kindergarten and even including many college courses. Our tutors customize sessions to specific areas where the students need help. They also coach students on study skills and test preparation strategies.

Do you offer group tutoring? Group Tutoring is available for high school students that have the same class or are working on a group assignment.

Who are your tutors? Our tutors are teachers, college graduates and college students who are trained and have expertise in specific subjects. Our tutors are passionate about the subjects they teach.

Do you offer summer programs? Yes, we offer a range of transition, literature, math and study skills, and ACT/SAT Prep courses each summer. We also offer 1-1 tutoring and homework club assistance for those students attending summer school or taking an on-line courses.
